Spike's Courses
Spike has three online courses that he will be administering while voyaging on the boat: Geography of North America, Geography of the Middle East, and Introductory Physical Geography. All three are in WebCT format and are loaded on a server at the University of Utah. The Technology Assisted Curriculum Center in Marriott Library is responsible for managing these and other online courses at the University; Spike is responsible for the course material. While a course is under way (so to speak), it can be accessed only by those individuals who are enrolled in it; nobody else can gain access. In order to give others an idea of what the two courses contain, what work they require, and how they are organized, back-up duplicates of their contents from a preceding semester have been uploaded to this website.
